About Jeremiah

Hi, I’m Jeremiah—the person behind Jer’s Repairs.

I’m a husband, a father of four, and a stay-at-home dad studying IT Support at NWTC while running my own independent tech repair business. Between family, school, and fixing devices, there’s usually something keeping me busy!

I’ve been building computers, troubleshooting problems, and helping people with their tech for most of my life. Jer’s Repairs is my way of turning something I enjoy into a service for my neighbors in Marinette, Menominee, and the surrounding area.

When you reach out, you’re talking directly to me. You don’t need to know the technical terms or worry about asking a “simple” question. Just tell me what’s happening, and we’ll take it from there.

We’ll sit down to discuss your budget, what you’ll use the computer for, and your expectations. Then we can build it together, or I can provide a separate quote to handle the build for you.

Device repairsPhones, tablets, consoles, and controllers.

Device setup and troubleshooting, screen protector installation, and console and controller cleaning and repairs.

Screen and charging-port replacements are available on select devices. I’ll review your model and the repair required before accepting the job or quoting a price. Other repairs are assessed by device and problem.

Setup & tech helpPrinters, Wi-Fi, and patient personal guidance.

Printer and accessory setup, router and home Wi-Fi setup, connected-device troubleshooting, and help learning to use your devices.

In-person, at-home, and remote support are available depending on the job.

Files & securityFile transfers, backups, and virus removal.

Help moving files to a new computer, backing up your files, and removing viruses and malware.

Data-recovery assistance is limited to work within my capabilities. If it’s beyond my scope, I’ll waive my recovery fee and refer you to a specialist. Any specialist’s charges are separate.

Start with a free conversation. We’ll discuss what you need and agree on the work before I begin.

Diagnostics: $35 for up to one hour. That fee is credited toward an approved repair.

“From” prices depend on your device and the work involved. Parts, Windows licenses, backup storage, and any agreed travel charges are separate.

I’ll ask before doing extra work. Services that overlap receive a combined quote so you aren’t charged twice for the same work.

Please contact me before visiting or dropping off a device. I work from home, so all visits and drop-offs must be arranged in advance. No walk-ins, please.

Old or unwanted devices

Have tech taking up space?

I’m interested in unwanted computers, phones, tablets, consoles, and other devices I can reuse, repair, use for parts, or learn from.

Your personal data

I’ll destroy any personal data on devices you give me. Hard drives will be physically destroyed. Other storage will be erased or destroyed before devices or parts are reused or sold.

Another chance to be useful

I’ll reuse or resell devices and parts that have value. Some may become practice projects. Anything I can’t use or sell will be recycled wherever possible.

Save any files you want to keep first—data destruction is permanent. Message me with what you have and its condition before arranging a handoff.
